And nearly one in five U.S. households struggles to put enough food on the table, according to the National Low Income Housing Coalition. “Our cities are bursting at the seams,” Kunst said. The question is: Where do we get the capital to build the housing and support the population boom in urban areas, and to start restoring farmland and wetlands in the countryside?
